Tyrion Lannister

Today I would like to talk about Tyrion Lannister, the dwarf, one of the main characters of 'Game of Thrones'. Well, I haven't read the books, so I can only talk about the TV series. In fact, I haven't finished the second season yet, but it's almost over, only four chapters left (tonight it's going to be three).

I must say that I'm totally in love with this character. Why? Obviously not for his physical appearance, but I don't know, this actor has something special, a different kind of attractive. In fact, some people consider him as the Brad Pitt dwarf, but I suppose this point of view is exaggerated. The most important aspect on this character is, in my opinion, his intellect. And I don't think he's a bad person, but I can't neither say that he is a saint. He's a very deeper character, and his nature is very close to the hard childhood he had.

Finally, I would like to introduce some references of Tyrion, in case you don't know who is he because you are not acquainted with the TV series or the novels

Merrick

Last Saturday, I finished the book I started this summer : 'Merrick', the seventh book of the Anne Rice's 'Vampire Chronicles'.

In this one, the main character is David Talbot. His first apparence was in the fourth novel, 'The Tale of the body Thief'. He tells the obsession of Louis of invoking the ghost of Claudia, the kid vampire of the first novel. For that, David needs the help of Merrick, a very powerful witch.

From my point of view, this is a great novel that tells a different story not centered on the essence of the vampire, but it talks about the feelings of a relationship between humans, and how they persist when the human nature has gone. We meet another kind of vampire, the one with an old human soul.

If you like a typical vampire novel, this one isn't for you. But, if you look for something different with vampires on it, and grocery, this is for you. Also, if you like the series 'The Mayfair Withes', Merrick is one of them, so you can't miss this book.

  

Holidays have gone

Well, again at work. Goodbye my dear Holidays, I will miss you so much...

So, how about your holidays? Mine were great! I was almost all my holidays lying on the beach. The sun, the water, ice-creams.... I loved it!

I went to a theme-park too, it was so exiting!  And I went out for dinner a lot too. I met friends, I went to the cinema... Typical things.

And now I the routine has came, but I'm getting used to my normal life again. After a week. You know, work, housework... In a pair of weeks I'm starting my English classes again. Oh winter is coming. I don't like the cold, but there's nothing I can do. I have to lead with it.

If you feel like me, please tell me. I know I'm not alone!!!

In memory of my lovebird

A year ago, my lovely lovebird died. I'm still very sad, because I had him so many years... In fact, he had 16 years old when he died. And I couldn't stay by his side at that moment. At least my mother was there, keeping him in her hand. I can't forgive myself for not beeing there with him.

I went to his grave two weeks ago. My niece and me brought him some flowers. We took him to the mountain, the only place we could buried him. I can't go very often and that's horrible for me, because when I'm there, I don't want to leave him alone.

I hope that my little bird is OK wherever he is, and could feel that I'm always by his side, thinking on him. I hope he is always by my side too.

Goodbye my little parrot, you will always be in my heart.

About LOVE

Talking about love, what do you think it is? A real feeling, or just an imaginary sensation? Love or just attraction? Do you love anyone?

Im my opinion, love exists. It's a strong feeling you have for other person. And although love can disappear, I believe it just changes in the time. Love in the first phase it's quite different, you feel butterflies in your stomach and you are always thinking in the loved person. Then, you still love, perhaps even with more intensity, but you can see the defects of the other person.

And that's the important thing, when you love someone and you can see his/her real personality.

Austin Powers 4

Perhaps it's an old piece of news, but for me it's completely new!

A new Austin Powers movie! Yeah baby! OK, I know the third part was not very good, but I'm a fan of the character.

According to Mike Myers, the film will be focused on Dr. Evil. So, I suppose it will be a bit different than the previous ones, supposing that the period of time will be different too. At least, we are not in the 00's right now! And the 70's are far away...

Dates for the movie? It's still soon, but they said it will be released for summer 2013. I'm looking forward to seeing the movie in the cinema, as the last two ones.

So, what's your favourite Austin Powers movie? I think the best film is the first one, 'International Man of Mistery'.

My first post in my new blog. OK, let me introduce myself. I'm Jade, and this is my strange diary. Why strange? Well, basically because I couldn't put jadesdiary in the domain. I liked the strange adjective because I thought I would write about different topics.

Oh, sorry for my English. I'm Spanish, but I'm learning. So, you could thougth why the hell I'm writing in English? First, because I want to practise the language, and then, because I think I can reach more people. These are the main reasons.
